International Women's Day is a day recognized to honor the contributions of women in the fields of education, business, culture, and politics. Women's rights and gender equality are highlighted on this day.
In Sydney, the theme for this years' International Women's Day is #BreakTheBias, a nod to the vital role that women, men, and individuals of all gender identities play in achieving gender parity.

1. International Women's Day 2022: Building Back Fairer

5. #BreakTheBias: Women Poets Perform on International Women's Day

Poetry Sydney fosters new ideas, discoveries, and creative impulses by showcasing contemporary Australian poets. Poets from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines are featured in this event.
