We at Coverhero have some exciting news to share with you this week! Coverhero was included in 2020's Insurtech 100 list, alongside some of the hottest Insurtech startups and scaleups in the world right now, and we could not be happier or more grateful to be featured alongside some of the greats.
What is Insurtech 100?
Insurtech 100 is an annual list compiled by Sønr—the leading market intelligence platform for insurance companies—which tracks and draws a global index from 1,500 start and scaleups. The Sønr Index is drawn from this data after analysing, evaluating, and modelling. It is from this Index that the Insurtech 100 list is created to highlight and celebrate, in their own words, “the leading startups and scaleups across insurance, worldwide—the companies rethinking today’s products, services and business models.” We are pleased to announce that Coverhero now ranks among these companies making a fundamental difference in the world of Insurtech.
Why is this such a big deal?
As an early-stage startup, it is a great honour to be included alongside giants such as Lemonade and ZhongAn Insurance, and have our work to revolutionise the insurance industry recognised as worthy of notice. Alongside other companies, we have been recognised for factors such as a strong founding team, and a well executed, early stage product with immense potential for growth. For us, the inclusion in such a list is a validation of the journey we are on to make insurance more customer-centric.
